Just The Words.

My little one is starting to explore the world of words. She’s beginning to understand that letters are symbols and, when put together, letters make a bigger symbol that means something important. We look at books, read signs, menus, magazines, logos, and coupons. When I was trying to come up with a way to identify important things in her life, and put words to them, I looked to our Make a Match series for inspiration – and Label was born.

Each little tin comes with 12 word tiles, written in Montessori font to aid in letter writing and reading readiness.

Each set comes with:
12 wooden coins 1.5” in diameter
A little metal tin.

*They do not come with the pictures. This is intended to be an ADD ON to the Make a Match Memory Games. Currently Label is available to correspond with our most popular sets.

When you have Label + Make a Match Game you can use these 12 “labels” at a learning center to match the word to its corresponding picture; making a visual of both the word/symbol pair. More advanced players will enjoy playing the classic concentration game; but, instead of having double pairs of pictures, switch out a set for the Label words and help your little librarian strengthen word recognition and reading readiness.

All of my creations were made with your little one in mind. Each piece was designed to nurture child development through open-ended play. These Mushrooms have been hand painted with a nontoxic water based wash. They have been lightly sealed with a combination of organic beeswax and jojoba oil to keep the colors vibrant.

Each mushroom top measures approximately 1 and 1/4" in diameter. Due to their size, they are not meant for children who still put things in their mouths as they could present a choking hazard. As with ALL toys, children should be supervised while at play.

I am SO Excited to announce that this lovely Philadelphia class is now available in TODDLER size!

Oh the sweet sounds, sights, and tastes of Philadelphia - the City of Brotherly Love. We recently participated in a Culture Share project with other families around the world; and, I had the pleasure of rediscovering the City of Brotherly Love with my little ones in tow while researching, drawing, and exploring our wonderfully cultural, diverse, and historical city. We created a little story about our journey through the city filled with fun native facts (and Wikipedia finds). This particular edition would make a unique way to study Philadelphia in a homeschool or for-the-fun-of-it setting!

This little Make a Match Memory Game is compact enough to fit into your purse, backpack, or even your pocket. The perfect play toy for picnics, play dates, or rainy days, this is a classic, multi-generational game that will be enjoyed time and time again. This particular Make a Match Edition is a JUMBO Collection..there are 50 wooden coins made from all natural wood and measure 1 and 1/2 inch in diameter. I have seen many types of alphabet and number art while out and about and thought it would be fund to try my hand at designing some of my own. The result was this really fun and funky art piece for my daughter’s bright and colorful toddler room. We are continuing to practice gratitude at our house. This Holiday I designed a printable for Holiday Lights that can be printed, cut out, and hung on a wall or added to a string to create holiday garland. You add one thing you are grateful or thankful for on each of the lights and hang them around the house to light up your home with gratitude, thanks, and joy.
